A quiet start against a team they easily beat during the regular season didn’t slow down the Harrisburg Tuesday night as the Tigers doubled up Canton 52-26.
The Tigers pulled away in the second half, outscoring the C-Hawks 35-14. The Tigers led at the half 17-12. Harrisburg beat Canton 86-61 in a January game. The win allows Harrisburg (11-10) to host Saturday’s District 7A title game against Lennox, a team the Tigers split with earlier this season. Sophomore Eric Hensch led the Tigers with 13 followed by senior Patrick Draisey with 9. Jordan Budde scored eight and Patrick Draisey added seven points and six assists. Draisey led the Tigers with eight rebounds. He also had at least four blocks. Saturday’s game against Lennox starts at 7 p.m. On Jan. 21, Harrisburg beat Lennox in Lennox 52-49. Two weeks later in Harrisburg, the Orioles escaped with a four-point win 45-41. To view an archived chat of the game click here |
