A stretch of Willow Street in Harrisburg will be closed to through traffic for a few hours on Saturday due to the expected high number of traffic for a poker run.

Willow Street, between Railroad Avenue and Prairie Street, will be closed from 5 to 9 p.m. The detour route is Prairie Street, Main Street and Railroad Avenue.

The poker run is to benefit Bryce Schroeder, the young boy who was recently injured in an motor vehicle accident in Harrisburg.

East of Harrisburg, road crews have begun asphalt concrete resurfacing operations on S.D. 11 from 69th street to the Harrisburg corner.

Traffic will be maintained through the project with the use of a pilot car and flaggers. The work is expected to be completed on july 29.
